TikTok users can now choose to create posts that include photos, videos, or text. This option appears when opening the camera.

When a user selects text, they can add sound or location to the post after writing the message, for example.

“These features make your text messages as dynamic and interactive as a video or photo post,” the company stated.

The social media company describes this update on its website as “expanding the options for creators to share their ideas and express their creativity.” According to the company, users can now share stories, poems, song lyrics, and other written content on TikTok with this new feature.
