And for the New year why not just doodling on postcards: cartoon animals, Santa Claus, beautiful Christmas trees and decorations. People bought their packs, and in the evenings he signed numerous relatives, friends and acquaintances. Gradually, this tradition began to disappear.
But, as it would be nice to receive a Christmas or a Christmas card with angels and ornate inscription of Griboedov: “And in the evening to see if I have to drink a bottle of champagne together, I would absolutely have wrought…”
