The Australian Open in 2018: Stakhovsky lost in the first round of qualification

Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky prematurely lost chances of hit in the basic grid of the Open championship of Australia.

In the first round of qualifying Stakhovsky over two hours fought with the 184-th racket of the world from Germany Matthias Bachinger. In Melbourne, the players spent the fourth in-person meeting (1:2 not in favor of Stakhovsky).

In the first set, the Ukrainian conceded to a break, but was given a punch line of the party and took the lead. In the second set, Stakhovsky was leading 5:2, but in the ninth game could not submit to the match. Tie-break, before Stakhovsky at the reception failed to convert two match-balls. Bachinger, inspired by his comeback, managed to equalize and get back in the fight for an exit in the following round of qualifying.
