Sports brand SEAT Cupra unit – officially launched its first fully electric model called el-Born, reports the Chronicle.info with reference to Browser.

Cupra el-Born is based on the platform of the Volkswagen Group MEB, which is designed purely for electric vehicles. Here one motor (204 HP), it drives the rear wheels and accelerates the new product to “hundreds” of 7.5 seconds. The cruising range of the car 500 miles, which provides a battery capacity of 82 kWh (of which are available to 77 kWh). By the way, this is the biggest battery that can be found on electrohead. Over time, the same battery will get the top VW ID.3.

Cupra el-Born has quite a spacious cabin, the trunk is about the same volume as that of the SEAT Leon. On the front panel set digital collection tubes, 10-inch touch screen infotainment system and a new sport steering wheel. The seats have well-developed lateral support.
