The Deputy head of the FSMTC said that the organizers are another example of unfair competition.
The organisers of the air show “Farnborough international — 2018” in the UK has banned Russia’s show of military equipment at the exhibition in 2018. This was announced by Deputy head of the Federal service for military-technical cooperation (FSMTC) Anatoly Punchy.
I’m sorry that the result of this decision we will not be able to use this platform for experience exchange and demonstration of our capabilities — quoted Punuka “Interfax”. — Thus, we are faced with an instance of unfair competition.
He added that the organizer of the Russian exposition of military equipment in the show was to be the “Rosoboronexport”.
The air show “Farnborough international” will be held from 16 to 22 July 2018.
Russia previously faced difficulties while participating in this exhibition. So, in 2014, the Russian delegation was not able to get into the UK due to refusal of visas, and in 2016, the Russian Federation has allowed to exhibit only civil products.
