At the beginning of the auto show in Detroit, Mercedes-Benz officially presented the Mercedes-Benz G-Class new generation. Its sales will begin in the end of the year.
New Mercedes-Benz G-Class did not disappoint. It has retained its traditional body design, but at the same time become more modern. Attention restyled headlights, new taillights, and new rims.
G-Class new generation has slightly increased in size. Thus, the length grew by 5.3 cm compared with the previous generation model, width – 12.1 cm, a height of 0.7 mm, and the wheelbase is 4 cm Is of course a little bit, but the interior was more space and now the passengers, especially the rear, will be more comfortable than before. Besides, the rear seats are a bit “drowned” in the Luggage compartment, which also gave more space in the cabin.
Despite the increase in size, the new G-Wagen weighs less than the previous generation model. The Germans achieved through the extensive use of aluminium.
The cabin is now better and more modern materials. In General, the interior looks expensive and prestigious, as befits a car “Mercedes”.
But with all this new G-Class has maintained its off-road qualities, for which it is so appreciated by many motorists.
