Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Kozlova successfully marching in the tournament of the competitions category WTA International in Taipei with a prize Fund of $250,000.
In the second round “Taiwan Open” Kozlov met with the 114-th racket of the world from China Enjin Duan. Ukrainian was considered the favorite of the match, but the victory was given her very difficult.
At the start of the match, Kozlov lost his serve, and back in the game, Duan Ukrainian was not allowed. With the score 2:4 Catherine was close to a reverse break, but when the score was 30:0 and lost four goals in a row.
In the second set Kozlova, having played seven break points, managed to break the game. Ukrainian made two breaks and evened the score.
During the deciding set, Kozlov was leading 4:2, then allowed Duan to equalise. At the tiebreak Catherine won a four ball at the reception and went to the quarterfinals.
Next opponent Ekaterina Kozlova in Taipei will be Yulia Putintseva (Kazakhstan) or Zhang Caijing (China).
