Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Kozlova failed first attempt to become the champion of the WTA tournament.
In the final of the tournament WTA International in Taipei Kozlov met with the 45-th racket of the world Timea Babos. Catherine tried to repeat the achievements of Elina Svitolina and Kateryna Bondarenko, who in 2015 and 2017 beat Babos in the finals of the tournaments in Marrakesh and Tashkent respectively.
During the first set Kozlova led 4:2, however, allowed Babos to make a back break. In the 12th game of the tennis player from Hungary once again took the feed Ukrainka, which automatically earned her a victory in starting party.
Struggle in the second set did not work – Babos made two breaks and held on to his serve and lost just five draws.

The finals of the tournament in Taipei brought to Catherine the Gantry over 20 thousand dollars in prize money and 180 ranking points, which will allow the Ukrainian Monday to debut in the top 70 of the WTA rankings.
