Albert Heijn has become involved in a price conflict with Nestle. The food group (known for Maggi, Nescafe and KitKat bars, among others) wants to increase its prices by 20 percent. The supermarket chain finds that price increase insufficiently substantiated.

“Unfortunately, the conversation with Nestle is currently stalled,” the spokesman said. “As a result, certain Nestle products are currently unavailable.”

According to the spokesman, Albert Heijn tries to reach an agreement as soon as possible with Nestle, which is also known from Smarties and the spring waters of Perrier and S. Pellegrino.
