CEO of Jeep Mike Manley said that in the near future well-known brand will present the smallest model, which “surpass” in size and compact Renegade.
The basis of the mini crossover will be taken from the platform of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, used Fiat Panda, Lancia Ypsilon and many other cars of small size. This novelty will be produced at the factory in Italy, where he currently produces the Fiat Panda.
Note, in the framework of last year’s Geneva motor show, FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne said that in 2019-2020 serial production modifications Panda will be moved from the factory to Pomigliano.
