FAS forced operators to abolish roaming charges in Russia

The Federal Antimonopoly service (FAS) has issued a warning to the Big Three and Tele2 operator containing the order as soon as possible to abolish national roaming. In other words, all operators are soon going to cancel the boundaries between regions and establish a unified cost of calls across the country.

Warning, the FAS issued to operators, indicating an unjustified increase in tariffs for calls when the subscriber is outside the home region, but in Russia. Antimonopoly service has obliged the Beeline, Tele2, MTS and MegaFon to eliminate the violation within 14 days and notify its subscribers of the change 10 days before the introduction of the new pricing terms.
