Super Nintendo World, a theme segment of Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan, will be expanded. The new part of the amusement park will be completely dedicated to Donkey Kong, Nintendo reports Tuesday.
The area will be given a new roller coaster and “interactive experiences”. It also sells Donkey Kong merchandise and food. According to Nintendo, visitors can”take a stroll through the lush jungles where Donkey Kong and his friends live”.
There have been rumors for some time that Super Nintendo World would be expanded, because construction started some time ago. The new area should be opened in 2024.
Super Nintendo World opened its doors in March, after the opening was delayed several times due to the coronavirus. The current section is completely dedicated to Super Mario.
