Yarmolenko – Ukrainian seventh in the English Premier League


Newly minted midfielder “West ham” Andriy Yarmolenko have been added to the list of Ukrainians who competed in the elite Premier League.

Yarmolenko over 24,9 million Euro moved from Borussia D, “West ham” and became the seventh Ukrainian Premier League. His hand in the elite of English football tried many iconic players in the history of Ukraine, but only Oleg LOGNAME managed to leave a real mark in
Premier League.

Luzhny is a leader among Ukrainians the number of matches in the Premier League – former defender of Kiev “Dynamo” in the “Arsenal” and “Wolverhampton” played 81 match. It Luzhny in 2001-2002, became the first Ukrainian Premier League Champions. Recently this achievement in the “Manchester city” repeated Alexander Zinchenko.

The Ukrainians have scored just 24 goals in the Premier League, having played more than 200 matches. To become the top scorer among compatriots, Yarmolenko enough to score only 11 goals.

Debut in the Premier League Andriy Yarmolenko will on 12 August, when “West ham” on departure will play with “Liverpool”.
