The equipment was classified by the U.S. Department of defense as DEMIL D that means that it must be destroyed by the military and may not be sold somewhere else.

All eight were indicted by a Grand jury in Nashville, Tennessee in the conspiracy to commit theft of important equipment of the US army and sell it without permission, it is underlined in the message.
