The law on the Metropolitan police, 1839, States that a person is not allowed “to sing any obscene song or ballad or use any obscene language to the annoyance of residents or passengers”. Perhaps this is the only section that should be adhered to more strictly today.

Although the 1986 law on poaching and prevent the sale of illegally caught fish (section 32 of the Law on salmon entitled “Handling salmon in suspicious circumstances”), might have good intentions, the wording is strange.
In February 1986 in the House of lords held a debate about the wording of this law and it was decided to leave it unchanged, because it must protect the innocent people who have accidentally purchased poaching salmon.
However, the wording gives the impression that people with suspicious-looking salmon in the hands are common.

Before you import Polish potatoes into the UK, you need to provide the authorities with some information. They include point of entry, the date and time of intended arrival, details about the vehicles, how many and where they will be accepted. In addition, we should not forget about varieties of potatoes, identification number of the person who it was grown, and the certificate confirming that the potatoes are infected. The law on Polish potatoes came into force in 2004, when the potato crops in Poland suffered a series of outbreaks of ring rot.

According to the Law banning the wearing of armor, 1313, no one is allowed to enter the Parliament in armor. It is hard to imagine that modern MPs have this outfit in my closet and think in the morning: and not to wear my armor?
The law was passed during the reign of Edward II, in times of significant political instability in England. In it the king really insisted that “in all parliaments and other assemblies in the Kingdom of England every man should come without armor.”
