Joint stock company “Ukrzaliznytsia” has formed a new train schedule for the years 2018/2019, and from December 8, launches a new through car Kiev – Wroclaw (Poland). This was reported by the press service of the company.

“With the increasing demand, “Ukrzaliznytsya” expanding the network of international routes to Europe. On December 8, will begin operating new non-stop cars Kiev – Wroclaw. In total, the new chart of the passenger traffic in connection with the increase in demand will run 40 international trains, including 20 in Europe”, – stated in the message.

According to the press service, through car Kiev – Wroclaw in the composition of the train No. 749/51-52/750 will depart from Kiev daily at 14:07 and arrive in Warsaw the next day at 11:25. Back the car will depart at 16:30 and arrive in Kiev the next day at 17:14. New non-stop cars will run with stops, particularly at stations of Lviv, Przemysl, Krakow and Wroclaw. In addition, the new schedule of movement of passenger trains will run in a number of important tourist and business centres of Europe.

“In particular, in Warsaw, Vienna, Budapest, Vilnius, Riga, Bucharest, Kosice, Cracow, Debrecen, Lublin, etc.,” the message reads. According to the press service, the demand for rail transport in EU countries is increasing, therefore, the “Ukrzaliznytsia” has developed an international message. “11 months of this year, “Ukrzaliznytsia” has carried 389,1 thousand passengers in the EU is almost 2 times higher than the corresponding figures of the previous year, overall was brought to 184 thousand passengers,” – said in the message.

It is noted that the most popular destination remains Kiev – Przemysl. “In the direction of Poland, the train No. 715 runs loaded by 63%, and the train back to 77%. In just 11 months of this year, “Ukrzaliznytsia” has carried nearly 300 million passengers in Przemysl vs 150 thousand passengers reported in the first 11 months of last year”, – stated in the message.

Also in high demand by train No. 67 Kyiv – Warsaw, which for 11 months of this year have used almost 27.5 million passengers, which is 14 thousand passengers more than in the same period of 2017. The train filled in an average of 81%.
