Ukrainian team had the worst qualifying to the world Cup


The national team of Ukraine on football for the first time, prematurely lost chances in the final stage of the world Cup.

On the eve of the team Andrey Shevchenko in Kiev at the NSC “Olympic” with a score 0:2 lost to Croatia and missed a chance in the play-offs to compete for a spot on the world Cup.

The 2006 world Cup – the most pleasant memory of fans of the Ukrainian team Oleg Blokhin became the first European team secured a place in the final stage of the German Championship. In the group with Turkey, Denmark, Greece, Albania, Georgia and Kazakhstan team

Similarly, the Ukrainian team played in world Cup qualifiers 2014. In a group with England, Montenegro, Poland, Moldova and San Marino “blue-yellow” took the second place (6-3-1), and in the play-offs lost to France (2:0 and 0:3).
