Украинский гопак - уйгурский танец, возрожденный советскими хореографами

Ukrainians always want something to be proud of. And they are even not proud of it – they often “pishutsya”. Although the word “blaze” is translated into Russian as “arrogance”.
Although, as already wrote “anti-Fascist” in the Ukrainian language there is no word “proud”. There where Russian pride, svidomo – “piatti”, that in Russian “vanity”.

But we should be proud. Because how else can exalt a nation? To justify the killing of all “subhumans” – “separable”, “wool”, “enemies of Ukraine”? That’s why the fictional “cyborgs”, “heroes ATO”, as well as stories about the Buddha and the Christ had Ukrainian roots, and the ancient ukry founded the whole human civilization. And, of course, redraw the history of Ukraine, talking about the state, which was not on the world map before the formation of the USSR.

But the Ukrainians somehow violet to be proud of the ancient ukrov, especially since many adequate citizens of Ukraine who have the education and read clever books, you know that this is the most blatant lie, to which I could only think of the Ukrainian authorities. Need some more real examples. Because you can not endlessly be proud of only one embroidery and to dress up her dogs.

And there it is! And immediately canonized – combat hopak officially became a national sport. Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill No. 5324, which introduces into law the concept of “national sport”, and now the Ukrainian Parliament has legalized dancing in trousers in the sports arena.

Well, okay, became a dance martial art, someone from this bad? Vaughn, of Brazil, capoeira, dance, and the legs waving. But the Brazilians capoeira, an ancient martial art is not named, it was originally a dance of slaves who disguised their dance training melee. But with the “combat hopak” is much more difficult.

The author of this style is Vladimir Pilat, who develops it since 1985 and has published two books. Incidentally, he is not only the Supreme teacher of the fighting hopak and the President of the International Federation of combat hopak, the General-ataman (respectively – the General-the Colonel IEDs), the Chairman of the Holy Council of the Association of sons and daughters of the Native Ukrainian National Faith (“Rover”).

After this enumeration of titles of any sane person and everyone needs to understand. But this is only the beginning.

Ukrainian historians earnestly believe that every movement hopak carries coded information. This style is aimed at the revival of the harmonious warrior and still considered exotic. And after the words “esoteric” enough to remember another quack style – non-contact fight. Experts have heard about it.

But back to the combat hopak.

To begin with, that there is nothing national in this so-called martial arts not. I confidently say as a coach in martial arts and as a person involved in martial arts for 30 years. Let’s look at these “combat elements”.

Lower level – rotation (mill, barrel, Garbuz) – that is, different types of sweeps.

All of this long ago is in the Arsenal of Chinese martial arts, which is much more ancient than the most ancient Ukrainian. As these movements are in Korean, and in Japanese martial arts, which are almost all borrowed in the same China.

On – prisadki (simple side, with a blow of the hand on the floor, the shaft on the sole), stretch down and sideways, palsonic, whisk, sweep, tab – same sweeps and kicks from a sitting position. Many of these elements known in JIU-jitsu, and Sambo in any other fight, when a fighter sits down to knock out the legs of the enemy or for the production of shots with the grip of his feet.

Upper level – jump (split step, the ring, hawk, frog, etc.). The airstrike, which hopak more similar than beats, namely in beautiful and high jumps. If practicing combat hopak at least once showed how such “gopas” they can break boards, tiles or something similar, as do Korean athletes Tang-su-to or Tae-Kwon-do – could be considered a blow. And so the master of “combat hopak” is simply stupid to copy the strikes of Japanese karate-do mawashi-Geri, Maya Geri, Yoko-Geri, and others.

By the way, the Supreme teacher of the Fighting Hopak Vladimir Pilat argues that 9 years in Kyokushin karate, in 1977, successfully passed the exams for Dan and I got a black belt. He opened his own school of Kyokushin karate called the “School of the Tiger”, in parallel studying other styles of karate-do, kick-Boxing and professional Boxing.

Are there any questions?

Of course, you can argue about combat hopak, but let’s talk about the dance. Because the fighting style would be created as on the basis of the dance, and this dance is mentioned by Gogol, and the first information about it date to the XVI century. Hopak melody was used by many composers. So, hopak themes present in “the May night” by Rimsky-Korsakov, “Mazeppa” by Tchaikovsky and many other works.

Mentioned – but nobody remembers what he looked like.

The first who described the Gopak, is considered a Ukrainian composer Vasyl Verkhovynets (1880-1938), the author of the book “Theory of Ukrainian folk dance”. Described by Verhovina hopak included jumping, prisyadki and rotation, commonly called a in the Ukraine popkami. But he recorded the dance, using only combinations of drawings and descriptions in words. But only words can not describe the movement in detail so that with this recording, you can play the dance. For movement, as for music, we need a kind of recording system. Today there are two such systems, which is used for entries in modern dance and ballet (Laban. Method Benegh Method).

But the story of the hopak that is, so-called “national” Ukrainian dance actually began with the creation in 1940 of the song and dance ensemble of Ukraine, which he headed from 1955 to 1975, Pavlo Virsky Pavlovich. Even the Ukrainians recognize that “this choreographer has created academic folk dance based on classical and traditional folklore, and made the famous hopak, which still ends concerts academic dance ensemble of Ukraine in his name.”

That’s just “traditional folklore” – was not Ukrainian. Because of the traditional Ukrainian Hutsul can be considered dance or round dance kolomyyki. As historians write, the Ukrainian stage dance existed until then only in the form of plug-in rooms in performances of Ukrainian music and drama theatre Yes single Ukrainian operas. And that’s created Virsky Ukrainian folk dance that is called, from zero.

The newspaper “Pravda” of March 13, 1936 wrote: “I Must just say that dancing was the best thing that was shown in the play. Hopak in the fourth act of “put on feet” literally the whole theater!”

Soaring high in the air dancers with drawn swords in hand, mind-boggling rotation, fencing master in dance, swift jumps and a variety of “prisyadki”, performed with preservation of the technical canons of classical dance (turnout, elongated rise, a clear position of the hands and feet, etc.), – have shocked not only ordinary Moscow public, but also of the K. S. Stanislavsky, enthusiastically appreciated the tour of Kiev.”

That is, the hopak was created by Soviet choreographers in the USSR in the mid 30-ies of the last century. That is, the Ukrainian national dance, the pride of the Ukrainians has created the current hate Ukrainians by the Communists.

Hopak is an urgent need to dekommunizirovat!

But that’s not all.

Let me be the last fly in the ointment in the Ukrainian conceited fairy tale. What do you think from which was taken the basic elements of Ukrainian folk dance? You’ll never guess. From China. More precisely, the main hopak, so to speak, of the base members received from… Uyghur folk dance. The video is very well seen at 2.26.

Uighur national dance

The Uighurs are a Turkic people, the vast majority of whom live in a region called Xinjiang in the far West of China. But the Ukrainian hopak amazing and looks like Tajik, and Turkmen, and the Adyghe folk dances. That is, the basis of Ukrainian dance became the dance of the Turkic tribes.
