Ukrainian defender moved to “Gent”

The former defender of FC Karpaty Igor Plastun moved from the “Ludogorets” in “Gent”.

Belgian club officially confirmed the conclusion of a four-year contract with the 27-year-old defender. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

According to unofficial information of his / hers “Gent” posted 3 million euros, six times more than the “Ludogorets” in 2016 paid the “Carpathians”.

In “Ghent” Plastun substitute Samuel Gigot, whose transfer to Spartak brought the Belgian to the club 8 million euros.

For two seasons in the “Ludogorets” Plastun played 77 matches and scored 4 goals. Ukrainian twice became the champion of Bulgaria and took the field in the Champions League and Europa League.
