The newly made world champion in the category up to 75 kg Alexander Khizhnyak became the champion of Ukraine in the number of titles per calendar year.

330 days to Khizhnyak managed to collect an incredible collection of trophies – the Ukrainian managed to become the champion of Ukraine in age categories U-22, to win the adult championship of Ukraine, the European championship U-22, adult European Championships and the world Cup. In addition, Khizhnyak was recognized as the best boxer of the world championship in Hamburg.

The Boxing Federation of Ukraine announced the award of the Khizhnyak official champion status in the country. The appropriate award boxer received from the National registry of records of Ukraine.

“The fact that I wrote his name in the national registry of records of Ukraine is an extremely honorable mission, because to be with the Champions of Ukraine is a great honor for me. This event sure will forever remain in my memory. My dream is Olympic gold and I will go to this goal”, – quotes the words of Khizhnyak, the press service of Federation of Boxing of Ukraine.

Alexander Khizhnyak – fifth of the Ukrainian world champion in Boxing among Amateurs. Earlier, a similar achievement was designed Vasyl Lomachenko (twice), Alexander Usik, Eugene Khitrov and Taras Shelestyuk.
