Ukraine may get the third world champion in Boxing


Boxer from the Dnieper Artem Dalakian will compete for the title of WBA champion in the Flyweight division.

Dalakan, acting on a Pro-ring from 2011 (15 wins in 15 fights, 11 knockouts), in late December, was supposed to meet with the Japanese Kazuto Yokoi, but the world champion refused to defend the title and vacated the title.

In the WBA decided that for the championship belt, dalakan will compete with experienced American Brian Viloria, which since 2001 has conducted 43 combat in which he scored 38 wins (23 knockouts). For the first time 37-year-old Viloria became the world champion in 2005 and in 2012 rival Dalakan in a fight with Hernan Marquez unified the WBO and WBA titles, but in the next battle he lost to Juan Francisco Estrada.

Battle of Dalakian-Viloria will take place on February 24 in Inglewood (USA). The fight will take place in the undercard of the fight between Srisaket COP Rugvica and music and will be shown live on TV channel “HBO”.

In case of victory of Artem dalakjan will become the third current Ukrainian world Boxing champion and will be the company Vasyl Lomachenko (WBO Featherweight title in a second weight) and Oleksandr Usyk (WBO heavyweight).
