Украина выпросила у Германии еще 72 млн евро

Berlin after two days of negotiations agreed to provide Kiev assistance in the amount of 72 million euros, said Deputy Minister of economic development of Ukraine Maksim Nefedov.

“Got it! Two days in Berlin for talks with Bundesministerium für Wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (Ministry for economic cooperation and development),” said he in Facebook.

“The result is 72 million euros in new assistance for Ukraine – sustainable economic development, regional development, energy efficiency and assistance to internally displaced persons!” – stated in the message.

Recall that Germany has economic support to the new Ukrainian authorities.

In October, the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said that the city received from Germany to aid snow-clearing equipment (though, to calculate correctly the machines received the mayor did not work).

In the spring the Minister of environmental protection, construction and reactor safety of Germany Barbara Hendricks announced the allocation of Ukraine of 19 million euros in additional financial assistance to overcome the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.

In the summer of 2015 the Verkhovna Rada on the proposal of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko ratified a Memorandum with Germany to loan 500 million euros to restore the infrastructure in the East of the country.

Thus, in response to the financial assistance Ukraine has to fulfill economic demands of not only IMF but also the European Union.
