Team microblogging platform Twitter has started testing a lightweight version of the app for devices running the operating system Android.
The Twitter app Lite is focused on regions with poor Internet connection and weak devices. According to the developers, it can be quickly set to a small amount of free memory, and then spend less in traffic than in a normal application. Installation will require 3 MB of free space. The user can activate the saver to download only those images and videos that you need.
We will remind, in April Twitter launched a lightweight version of its mobile website Twitter Lite for cases when the Internet connection is poor or the user just doesn’t want to spend a lot of mobile traffic.
The beta version of Twitter Lite for Android is available for free download in Google Play.
