U.S. Ambassador in Russia sent a letter to the foreign Ministry
The US has warned Russia about new sanctions for supporting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. About it reports Kommersant.
U.S. Ambassador John huntsman had sent a letter to the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
In the first part of the letter says about the motivation of the military operation carried out against Syria by the Americans and their allies, the newspaper writes. According to the United States, the Syrian government guilty of using chemical weapons against its own population and the international community must take steps to stop Assad.
In the second part of the message the huntsman informs Moscow that Washington intends to impose new sanctions for their support of the Syrian regime, according to the newspaper.

This is a response to a chemical attack in the Duma on 7 April, then from 70 to 150 people died, poisoned by a toxic gas. The West believes that the responsibility lies with the Assad regime.
