The fighting is almost done.
The United Nations does not see any Syrian district, which now could be called captured.
This was at the briefing said the Advisor on humanitarian Affairs, the UN special envoy on Syria, Jan Egeland.
“We are starting to see the end of this conflict … today, the UN does not see any area that would fall under the category of captured” – he said.
He also said that the fighting is practically over in the South-West of the country, so the UN can now deliver aid to more districts.
