Slovak racer “Bora–Hansgrohe” Peter Sagan at the 13th stage of the Tour de France won a third victory in the race.
After three hard mountain stages on today’s segment of the sprint from the breakaway of the day was a good chance of success, but the group of escapees are unable to effectively unite around experienced Belgian Thomas de Gendt. The last of the participants in the day’s break was neutralized six kilometers to the finish.
Finishing the alignment Sagan in the fight for stage bypassed Arno Demare and Alexander Kristoff. Other top sprinters, Fernando Gaviria mark Cavendish, Marcel Kittel and andré Greipel has experienced a series of mountain stages and prematurely ended the fight on the “Big loop”.
In the General standings Geraint Thomas has kept the almost two-minute advantage over Christopher Froome.
