Barcelona computer engineer Diego Buendia (Buendia Diego) published on Twitter almost the entire novel, Cervantes “don Quixote”. To do this, he spread out the text more than 17 thousand short posts, reports Phys.org.

Retired 55-year-old Spaniard created the algorithm that broke the work at excerpts up to 140 characters. He published 28 slices each day in a separate account. On Twitter Buendia subscribed more than eight thousand people, including Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

Latest tweet Buendia intends to place on April 22, the anniversary of the death of Cervantes (400 years).

The novel “don Quixote” (“the Ingenious Hidalgo don Quixote of La Mancha”) is published in two parts. The first volume came out in 1605, the second in 1615. the Work was translated into all major world languages, it staged plays and musicals; the book formed the basis of more than 50 films and TV series.
