Youth team of Ukraine led by Alexander Golovko suffered their second defeat in qualifying for the European Championships in 2019.

The rescue team U-21 national team were called Oleksandr Zinchenko, Victor Kovalenko, Artem Besedin, Vladimir Shepelev Andrei Lunin. Alas, the strengthening of the squad did not help the team in the match against the leader of the group.

On the 16-th minute the score was opened by the forward of “Liverpool” Dominic Solanke, and in the middle of the second half, defender Pavlo Lukyanchuk in attempt to knock the ball out of bounds scored a curious own goal.

The owners acted actively during the whole match, but tonight the chances of “blue-yellow” were at zero. All attempts Zinchenko, Belenky, Besedin and others to save the match proved futile.

On 14 November, Ukraine U-21 will play an away game with Scotland. This match for the team of Alexander Golovko turns into an early final in the battle for the second line, giving the right to compete for a place in the European championship via the play-offs.
