However, as found by Norwegian scientists, this effect has been reversed, and intellectual abilities of people began to fall. The material for the study was the results of testing the IQ of Norwegians admitted to military service in the years 1970-2009. Scientists used the results of 730 thousand tests.
According to researchers, for the generation of the level of intelligence has decreased by an average of seven points. Part of the drop in IQ may be due to environmental factors and changes in lifestyle of people, scientists believe.
