Almost half of Russians plans to spend the summer at home. This was reported on the website of the all-Russia centre of studying of public opinion (VTSIOM).
Approximately 45% of the respondents will not go anywhere, 34 percent will spend the summer on summer residences, and 14 percent in the village or another city. Only 4 percent of Russians are going to go abroad.
It is noted that 44 percent of respondents refused to travel because of lack of funds, and 18 percent of the occasion was the family business.
The survey also showed that the estimated spending on summer holidays in average in Russia amounted to 44 thousand rubles, but in Moscow and St. Petersburg, this amount is much higher — about 55 thousand rubles.
