Smartphone Alcatel 5 from Chinese company TCL, which recently took over production of BlackBerry phones, will soon go on sale. Today the network posted its specifications and even retail price, and, as it turned out, this is another mid-range smartphone with an elongated widescreen display.
Screen new Alcatel 5 has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a diagonal of 5.7 inches at a resolution of HD+. It has main camera of 12 MP and a fingerprint scanner right below it, while the selfie camera consists of two modules 5 and 13 MP, with a very wide viewing angle. The smartphone is built on outdated MT6750 MediaTek processor with eight cores, and it has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent memory, and battery 3000 mAh, microSD slot, a pair of slots for SIM-cards and USB-C port for fast charging.
Smartphone Alcatel 5 endowed with standard communication modules, and it has built in face detection for unlocking the analogue Face ID from Apple. The announcement of the Alcatel 5 will be 2018 at MWC in Barcelona next month and in sale it will arrive in mid-March of this year in black and gold hues of the case made of metal. The price of a candy bar that runs on the Android 8 Oreo, will be 230 euros, making it useless against the more advanced and less expensive Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus already in retail sales.
