The bully was drunk.

The district court in the Polish Opole fined a man accused of destroying signs with the emblem of Ukraine placed on the building of the Consulate.

The incident occurred in April this year in the city centre. Destroyed the sign on the sidewalk, found by passersby, as it hung on the wall of the Consulate building.

Police quickly identified the person who picked it. It is reported that 29-year-old Tomas A. confessed to the crime. He argued that it was bullying under the influence of alcohol, and negative feelings toward Ukrainians and Ukraine had not.

The Prosecutor’s office offered to appoint him a fine of 1000 PLN, and are required to cover funds for the repair of signs and litigation services. Court to sentence the Prosecutor has agreed.
