The Pentagon chief said the need of diplomatic efforts on North Korea
The Minister of defence of the USA James Mattis said Thursday he has confidence in the necessity of diplomatic efforts on North Korea.
“I don’t want to say that diplomacy is not working. We will continue to move forward on a diplomatic path and work through the UN Security Council. And we will be relentless” — he said at the Pentagon.
However, Mattis said that the U.S. diplomats “will speak from a position of strength because we have military options.”
