In the island nation of Samoa in Polynesia due to a measles outbreak has killed 48 people since mid-October. It is reported Xinhua citing the Ministry of health of Samoa in Voskresenie, 1 Dec.
It is noted that balista of the 48 deaths are children under the age of four years. Only for the last day were recorded with four deaths.
According to the Ministry, at the moment, there were 3530 cases, 173 of them in the last 24 hours. A total of 191 people were hospitalized.
