The IOC has deprived ten Ukrainian athletes medals at the games in 2004, 2008 and 2012 because of doping.

As reported by the portal “Ukrainian news”, in the black list IOC was gold medalist in the shot put, Yuri Bilonog and winner of bronze in rowing Olena Olefirenko. Both athletes became winners of Olympic games of 2004.

Of the participants in the Olympic games 2008 awards deprived the owners of silver Olga Box (weightlifting), Lyudmila Blonska (athletics) and Vasyl Fedoryshyn (wrestling), bronze medalists Natalia Davydova (weightlifting) and Denys Yurchenko (athletics).

Of the participants in the Olympic games of 2012 awards lost the bronze winner of Yuliya Kalina (weightlifting) and received a silver Alexander Friday (javelin).

In August, the international weightlifting Federation (IWF) reported that the winners of the Games in Beijing are 11 of the 15 athletes whose doping samples from the Olympics 2008 gave a positive result after rechecking. Among them were Ukrainian Davydova and Box.
