The French government wants to sell its stake in one of the world’s largest airline Air France.

As writes the edition, the French state is the largest shareholder of the airline is included in the top 10 largest in the world — is considering the sale of all 14.3% of the shares of the company owned, or part thereof. According to sources, the government “will study the possibility with the utmost seriousness”.
AccorHotels, which owns such major hotel brands as Novotel, Ibis, NH, has expressed interest in buying the entire package or part of it.
Air France was formed on 7 October 1933. In 2004 Air France merged with KLM. The headquarters of the combined firm is located in Paris.
