The European Union and the Russian Federation on 8 February, will hold informal consultations on the fight against terrorism. This is stated in the message of the European external action service.
It is also reported that during consultations representatives of the EU and Russia will discuss possible efforts to prevent radicalization and violent extremism.
The meeting will be solventjet Deputy Secretary General of the European external action service Pedro Serrano and Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia on combating terrorism Oleg Syromolotov.
The report also notes that the parties, in particular, will discuss assessment of global terrorist threats, threats from foreign terrorists-militants, the spread of terrorist ideology and cooperation in international forums.
