The police of the Czech Republic announced the arrest of a group of aliens suspected of forgery. Five people from this organized group of citizens of Ukraine, the court took into custody.

According to the report, this organized group forged passports, civil and driver’s license of Lithuania and extended fakes in the Czech Republic and other countries, as a rule, foreigners from third countries who are not entitled to stay in the European Union.

Operation on detention was held simultaneously in Prague and five other cities of the Czech Republic. Ten detainees from countries of the former USSR at the age from 28 to 46 years, were formally accused of forging public documents and aiding and abetting the illegal stay on the territory of the country.

Five Ukrainians who were part of the group, will await trial in custody. If the guilt of the detained is proved, they could face imprisonment for up to 10 years.

In addition, said the police, during the operation, police detained seven foreigners in the Czech Republic illegally tampered with this group of Lithuanian documents.

Investigators of Department on struggle against organized crime police of the Czech Republic worked on the case for two years, the report said.

On Monday, the police of the Czech Republic has reported the arrest of three members of the other group, engaged in forgery of documents. Among them was also a citizen of Ukraine.
