Pop Ivan Maramures is a mountain in the Ukrainian Carpathians, one of the peaks of the Hutsul Alps (part of the Maramures massif, Marble mountain). Located in Rakhiv district, Transcarpathian region, on the border of Ukraine and Romania. The altitude of 1936 m Form the vertices of a pyramid, the Northern and Eastern slopes are steep. Around the mountain in the seasons can form a small lake. On the large acreage there is pasture.
The nearest valley — Fox. There are many rare plants. The mountain is located within the protected Maramorosh massif of the Carpathian biosphere reserve. Pop Ivan with adjacent vertices (Urban, Berlebashka, etc.) and Alpine meadows is isolated in a separate area, called the Mountain Pop Ivan.
