World champion light heavyweight, WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO Andre ward announced retirement from professional Boxing.

Undefeated American boxer went to retire in 33 years. The address on the official site ward said that he was leaving the ring due to the lack of desire to keep fighting.

“Boxing, I love you. You were there for 10 years. Learned a lot, conquered me. Raised. I’ve sacrificed in your name, but you gave me more than I could conceive. You made me a champion, helped me to feed my family. I am grateful to you.

I’m going, but stay on top. This was my dream. And we did it. I’m leaving, because my body can no longer withstand the load. I don’t want to keep fighting. I thank God that he allowed me to do what you love for as long as needed”,” wrote boxer.

Ward retired in the status as the best boxer in the world by the authoritative American magazine “The Ring”. American professional Boxing from 2004 to 2017 spent 32 of the fight, which was won by 32 victories, including 16 knockouts.

In the record of the ward’s two victories over Sergey Kovalev, the successful fights against Arthur Abraham, Mikkel Kessler, Allan green, Carl Fros, Chad Dawson, Edwin Rodriguez, Sullivan Barrera and others.

The departure of Andre ward’s retirement is good news for Ukrainian prospect Oleksandr gvozdik, who may soon obtain the right to fight for one of the vacant belts of the world champion.
