The seabed is inhabited by very unusual creatures.
When fishing in the open ocean you really do not know who is on the other end of the line. The ocean is so vast and unexplored that never ceases to amaze even seasoned fishermen and researchers. This year is not over yet, but already rich in strange, sometimes unearthly marine life that was accidentally caught by fishermen.
1. Atelophobia fish
The fishermen who caught this fish off the coast of Florida was planning to get myself a dinner, but certainly lost my appetite. After many attempts of identification, the fish was designated as jellynosе or atelophobia fish.
About these deep-sea marine life is little known. It is assumed that their natural habitat is the Caribbean sea, the Atlantic and partially the Pacific and Indian oceans.
2. Fish-dragon
If the last finding was identified, then this instance is closer to science fiction movies than to our ideas about the underwater world. Experts identified it as a fish-dragon or the black dragonfish.
For a very incomplete scientific data, it is more similar to a character in the movie “Alien” creation, lives at depths of over 2 kilometers and can reach a length of 40 cm.
3. Shark-Goblin
This specimen was also caught on the Florida coast, at Cape Key West. Accidentally caught in a network of shark-Goblin was longer than 5 meters and it looked like it sailed to the Florida coast right from prehistoric times.
It turned out to be far from the truth. According to scientists, over the past 125 million shark-Goblin does not undergo significant changes in appearance.
4. Piranha with human teeth
Piranhas are heroes to many not the most pleasant stories in Brazil, but this instance is not quite normal. Fish is much larger than the average piranha and if you look at her teeth, they look more like a human than a fish.
By the way, this specimen was caught in Ohio, where most likely was issued a careless aquarist.
5. Yellow Tarpon
Tarpon is a dream who are engaged in fishing in the open ocean, but all the documented Tarpon are silver in color.
Caught specimen was identified as a species of Tarpon, which was considered extinct in the 30th years of the last century.
6. Fish-the Lancet
This fish could easily be the protagonist of the protagonist of a horror film, but the fish-the lance is very real, but so far unexplored marine inhabitant.
Instance was beached on the Atlantic coast.
7. Marlin-albino
Marlin cannot be called a rare visitor, but this fish is different from anything I’ve seen fishermen. For its white color it the nickname “unicorn of the underwater world”, and it’s really an amazing sight, as usual, Marlin blue or gray-blue color.
This specimen was caught off the coast of Costa Rica.
