Surgeon from Baku writes reverent paintings sold to private collections around the world.
It is true that a talented person is talented in everything. A surgeon by profession, Dr. Rauf Janibekov (Rauf Janibekov) not so long ago took up painting, which he carried away in his early years as a child.
And, despite the fact that his paintings are mainly dominated by pale colors and shades, that doesn’t make them lackluster. There is something soul-cozy, wrapped in the warmth of memories and anxious feelings.
His work can be compared with life, where life is a huge painting, and people – artists, having a variety of colors, both bright and dark. And every one of us without stopping draws the picture of his life, adding all sorts of colors, but they are, unfortunately, not infinite.
Bright colors also tend to finish, so I have to refill that life seemed brighter, richer. And the dark colors a lot, but that’s the only reason they don’t like to use, you can not say about Rauf, whose works are soaked with rainwater, melancholia, a bit of sadness and silence.
