The evening of 14 August, a private aerospace company SpaceX Elon musk successfully launched a rocket into space, the Falcon 9 with the Dragon capsule.

Dragon spacecraft will deliver to the space station drinking water, food, scientific instruments and a supercomputer.

The first stage of Falcon 9 successfully brought the ship into orbit, then disconnected and by about the eighth minute after launch and landed at site LZ-1 spaceport Kennedy in Florida.

“From what I heard it was shot and it was very soft landing, so I think this part of the missiles ready to be used next time,” said Hans, Kingsman, Vice President, SpaceX, and the reliability of flights.

It was the last launch into space a new Dragon. The SpaceX company no longer plans to send into orbit a new Dragon ships of the first generation, it is going to re-use the already flown in space vehicles.

The vehicle docking with the ISS is scheduled for 16 August. Dragon will deliver to the ISS a total of 2.9 tons of payload. The spacecraft will be docked to the station for approximately one month.
