Soyuz crew successfully docked to the ISS


Союз с экипажем успешно пристыковался к МКС“Soyuz MS-12” docked to the International space station, the broadcast was carried on the website of Roskosmos.

On Board the ship was the Russian Alexey Ovchinin Americans Nick Hague and Christine cook.

Rocket “Soyuz-FG” with the spacecraft was launched from Baikonur at 22:14 GMT on 14 March. After nine minutes, the spacecraft separated from the third stage of the rocket and headed to the station. The flight was on short circuit as the ship made four turns around the Earth (with a standard 34 orbits).

On the ISS, the astronaut, and astronauts were met by the Russian Oleg Kononenko, American Anne McClain and canadian David Saint-Jacques.

Last attempt Ovchinin and Hague to get to the ISS failed on 11 October 2018, the accident happened, why their ship landed 20 minutes after the start of the flight.

Ovchinin and Kononenko are planning to go into space on may 29, and NASA astronauts 22 and 29 March and 8 April. In one of them the cook will work together with McClane. This will be the first time in history when two women will be in open space.
