The new findings scientists have proven that dinosaurs lived in Antarctica.
A team of scientists from different parts of the world have discovered more than a ton of fossilized remains of dinosaurs. Hosted this event during the expedition in Antarctica.
Scientists said that dinosaurs lived there in the late era, and their age is about 71 million years. Among the found remains also a lot of remains of marine reptiles: lizards, mosasaurs and pliosaurus.
Together with that found osamnaest of birds, among them ducks that lived in the late Cretaceous period. Discovered remains have been sent to Chile, and then they were sent to the Museum of natural history Carnegie, where will further research.
