Paleontologists dug about 780 pieces, which include bones and teeth not only of mammoths but bison, horses, Arctic foxes.

According to archaeologists, burial is so rich with findings that in some places in one cubic meter were able to dig more than a hundred bones.

Experts believe that the Elevation of a Wolf Mane can be one of the last habitats of ancient animals in Siberia, which explains such a record number of their remains. At a depth of about 3 meters were found the bones of larger individuals, and those who were closer to the surface, were fragments of the smaller mammoths.

Scientists have long known that these animals towards the end of his existence on Earth crushed, but to find evidence of this phenomenon in one study area was a huge surprise. A unique find, without knowing it, helped to make local residents, who often came across the bones when they dug wells and ditches. But none of them could even imagine how big the volume of burial.
