As noted by Kuzmin’s lawyers, their client was happy that everything was left behind, and is ready for “a new Chapter in his life.” However, they did not specify the future plans of his client.

Kuzmin was arrested in 2010 when he arrived in the United States to participate in technology conference. A year later, he pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

The man was accused of involvement in the development and dissemination of a computer virus Gozi. In this case also took the citizen of Latvia Denis Cholovskogo, which previously sentenced in the US for more than 20 months in prison. Calovski is also already served his sentence and returned home.

As argued by American authorities, with the help of computer virus attackers from gaining illegitimate access to personal information and stole money from the accounts of individuals and legal entities, and governmental agencies.
