Russian language can get in the basic law of the Russian Federation the status of the language of the constituent people, said Wednesday President Vladimir Putin.
Simultaneously the Constitution should provide guarantees of ethnic and cultural, including linguistic diversity.
“The combination of the first with the second I think would be the right to work” – quoted Putin TASS.
The head of state stressed that “it will be a good acquisition for the basic law.”
