Robert Downey Jr., refused to receive an Oscar for “the Avengers”

Robert Downey Jr. was a guest of the Howard stern show. During the conversation, the actor commented on the words of Martin Scorsese that movies about superheroes that’s not a real movie.

Robert suggested that in fact the famous Director is hardly so serious about this, in response to what stern said that the possibility of in fact many in the film industry share the opinion of the Director, because Downey Jr. was never nominated for an Oscar for the role of Tony stark.

“I’m so glad you raised this question because we discussed this possibility, and I said, “let’s not”,” said Robert.

“I value his opinion, as I believe that we need to know different points of view, so we can choose the right way and move on,” added Downey Jr.
