Renault introduced an updated Captur

Crossover with a hybrid power plant will appear next year.

Renault introduced Captur 2020 at the Frankfurt motor show.

Car is based on the platform CMF-B, the fifth-generation Clio will be available with a hybrid power plant, writes the online edition of the Chronicle.info with reference to TSN.

Hybrid Captur will use the 1.6-litre petrol engine and two electric motors. The car will be equipped with a battery capacity of 9.8 kWh, which provides a range of 45 km and a Maximum speed in electric mode will be 135 km/h.

In addition, the restyled Renault Captur will be available with petrol engines the TCe 100, the TCe 130 and TCe 155, and a Blue diesels and Blue dCi 95 dCi 115. All cars will get front-wheel drive because AWD is not planned yet.

Renault will shortly publish a detailed list of all options and their prices. It is expected that the new Captur will go on sale in the fall of 2019.
